Kids Comp Kick Off and Demo Day
Over the weekend we held our Demo Day out at Tututuka. Whangarei Deep Sea Anglers club were great hosts and the facilities of the Tutukaka Marina were ideal for our purposes. Thank you all for your support in organising and running this event.
The weather held off to a degree for some in harbour sea trials with potential buyers. but it also gave the WHM staff a good opportunity to get out in some of these boats and see what they can do on the water.
We also kicked off the Kids fishing competition over the weekend and organised a casting competition using the small but robust Ugly Stix kids set, it’s amazing the crowd that gets drawn to something so simple. Many kids and a little later adults tried their hand at winning the Penn Spin fisher VI live liner combo to no avail.

The Kid’s comp is running from now until January. Under 13s are included in this competition, Sorry Adults maybe try the funniest video section.
Simply come in and Purchase an Ugly Stik Doc Runner for $20 (normally $49.90) Get out on the water and use it. Take photos of your catch and post to Instagram or face book and Tag Warren Hay Marine, Pennfishing_ANZ and WDSAC, make sure your post is set to public!!

We have also created another category for funniest video. This category isn’t limited to just kids. This is creating a video using the Doc runner combo, be it getting hammered by a big fish. or something more inventive. The Prize for this Category is a Penn Spinfisher VI 6500 Live liver combo valued at $389.90.
